Students have traveled to New York for performances at the Metropolitan Opera, heard the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Symphony Hall, and produced the performances and compositions featured at Olin events, including Candidates Weekends, Fall and Spring Expositions, and the Inauguration of Olin’s Presidents, past and present. External venues include concert halls at other colleges, universities, towns, and cities. Because Oliners embrace a wide variety of musical styles, they create ensembles across all musical genres, such as the Olin Jazz Orchestra, the Olin Rock Orchestra, and PowerChords, Olin’s a cappella group.
