At Olin many events hosted by clubs are concentrated into broad community events celebrating creativity and music. See below for more information.
Every February and March, prospective students travel to the Olin campus for Candidates Weekends, where they engage in build activities, do interviews, and sample Olin's academic and community spirit.
The Olin EXPO, held at the end of every semester (December & May), showcases team and individual projects completed during the term.
Olin hosts Fall Open House annually for prospective students to preview life at the school!
Every October, the College hosts Family Weekend so that students’ parents and families can visit and explore Olin, its environs, and community.
SLACFest is a community event hosted by the Stay Late And Create (SLAC) group. Anything creative is welcome here, and many workshops and events are hosted at SLACFest to facilitate this.
During Fall, Winter, and Spring, many music groups at Olin host concerts where they perform! Be it OCO, OJO, ORO, PowerChords, or Wired Ensemble, the seasons are alive with the sound of music.
OCO performs at Candidates Weekends, Family Weekend, Fall Open House every year as well as Olin’s Fall and Spring Expositions (EXPO). In addition, OCO performs Away Concerts that can be hosted at a number of different locales. Previous venues have included the Needham Town Hall (2016), the Great Hall of the Cooper Union in New York City (2017), and the ASEE International Conference in Niagara Falls, NY (2019)
Every February to March, candidates for the Half-Tuition Olin Scholarship travel to the Olin campus for Candidates Weekends. OCO has performed for them since 2003.
The Olin EXPO, held at the end of every semester in Dec. & May, respectively, features student team and individual projects. OCO has performed at these showcases since Fall 2002 when the first Expo took place.

Since 2016, OCO has performed at least one Away Concert every year. These events, occurring outside Olin, have been hosted by local, regional, and national institutions.
The Olin Jazz Orchestra (OJO) is the club for those jazz-loving musicians looking to play in a large band at Olin. In addition to the events listed below, OJO has partnered with Olin’s Student Government to stage dance parties, among other events.
OJO performs on the Olin campus every May at the end of the Spring semester.

The Olin Rock Orchestra (ORO) traditionally hosts one concert per semester.

The Olin PowerChords is the resident a cappella group at Olin. They often work with other a cappella groups to host performances, including the Babson and MIT groups.

In the Wired Ensemble course, students learn about orchestral instruments, including voice, and then write music for those instruments and voices. They engage in multiple performances through the semester, culminating in the Wired Ensemble Event during Olin’s Fall Expo in December. Concerts also occur at Candidates Weekends and special events, both inside and outside Olin.

Students in the Wired Ensemble course compose original compositions, all performed at a culminating concert held during Fall Expo in December of each year. The Wired Ensemble has performed at every Fall Expo since starting in 2003.
